Rosie is a darling 11-year-old who lost her arms and legs to sepsis following a serious car accident. She comes to Champ’s Heart once a week, sheds her prosthetic legs and arms, and she rides a horse named Slick for nearly an hour, using a specially designed saddle donated by the United Way of Idaho Falls and Bonneville County. For her, connecting with a powerful horse provides a feeling of independence she cannot experience anywhere else.
