Horse-Themed Birthday Parties at Champs Heart

Idaho Falls, Idaho

A birthday spent with horses

Some kids count down to their birthday for months. Give them a day they'll still be talking about next year: real pony rides, and games with the herd at our place on Crowley Road.

We host one party at a time, so your group gets the run of the space and our full attention. No rushing, no overlapping with another family.

What's included

Every party package comes with pony rides for the kids, party games, and use of our picnic area for cake, food, and presents. You bring the guests and the celebration; we handle the horses and the setting.

Who it's for

Birthday parties work best for kids who'd light up around horses, whether or not they've ever ridden. Our ponies are calm and used to first-timers, and our staff stays close the whole time. Parents are welcome to watch, take photos, or join in.

Booking and dates

We only take a handful of parties each season, and weekend dates fill first. If you have a date in mind, reach out early so we can hold it for you.

Safety requirements

Helmets are required for every child, with exceptions only for a special needs child who isn't comfortable wearing them. Closed-toed shoes are mandatory, no exceptions. Parents sign a release of liability form before the party begins.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • How long does a party last?

    Two hours.

  • How many kids can a party include?

Up to 8 children. We keep parties small so every child gets real time with the ponies.

  • What does a package cost?

$125 per hour, so a standard two-hour party comes to $250.

  • Do you offer more than one package or tier?

We offer one party package for kids. If an adult is interested in something for their own group, we're happy to talk through options one-on-one.

  • Do families bring their own food, cake, plates, and decorations?

Families bring all of that themselves. We focus on the horses and the activities.

  • Is there seating for cake and food?

There's an area onsite where kids and families can sit and eat cake.

  • Are there bathrooms onsite?

    Yes, there's a bathroom available.

  • How do pony rides work?

A volunteer leads each child on the pony. Our ponies can carry up to 60 pounds, so for kids over that weight, or for any child who's a little uneasy around the ponies, we have a pony-drawn buggy as an alternative. We also bring in two full-size horses so kids can experience riding in the arena.

  • What activities are included beyond the rides?

Roping a plastic cow head, barrel racing, pole bending where the child pulls their own pony, plus grooming, leading, and painting a pony.
